Dana’s career began at the age of 9, when she played Gypsy Rose Lee as a child in the musical ”Gypsy” at ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ Melbourne. Dana then went on to train at the Victorian College of Arts, where she received a number of Scholarships to
further her career. Before traveling overseas, Dana danced with the Victorian State Opera and the Australian Contemporary Dance Company. Dana then moved to London, where she spent 10 years between 1989 – 1999 performing and choreographing in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan.
Her credits include Wayne Sleeps “Hollywood and Broadway” UK Tour, “Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, “Song and Dance” UK & Europe tour, “Royal Variety Performance”, British Music Awards, National Music Express Awards London, “Shall we Dance” tour, Winter Olympics Norway, various fashion and Hair shows UK and Japan, TV, Film, Video clips and World Pop Tours. She has worked with such artists as Ray Charles, Madonna, Gloria Estefan, East 17, Cliff Richards, Prince, Ewan McGregor, Alexei Sayle, Ronnie Corbett, Hale and Pace, Michael Ball and Michael Crawford to name a few.
Dana returned to Australia as Resident Choreographer on Susan Stromans “Showboat” for which she received a Green Room Award Nomination. She has since worked as a freelance teacher and choreographer as well as setting up her own entertainment company “Voltage International Productions”.
Her recent projects include choreography for a new Australian Pop Artist signed to Liberation Records, The Diva Awards with Bob Downe, and resident choreographer for the Australian production of “ We Will Rock You,” and “ The Producers “
Dana’s work includes choreography for the television commercials of Berts Family Feud, GTV9, choreographer and movement consultant to Melbourne City Councils Moomba waterfest, the workshop of a new Australian musical “ Nostradamus” with Roger Hodgman. Dana has choreographed 3 productions for The Production Company, including “Anything Goes”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and the Independent Australian Musical “Respect”.
As a performer Yvette’s theatre credits include ‘How to Succeed in Business’ (Production Company), ‘Don Giovanni’ (VSO) the world premiere of ‘Dusty: The Original Pop Diva’ (Dance Captain) and ‘Shout! The Legend of the Wild One’ (Dance Captain). Television Performance credits include GTV 9’s ‘Starstruck’, ‘The Footy Show’, ‘Aria Awards’, ‘Logie Awards’, ’ Abba Mania’, ‘Rove Live’, ‘Raw FM’ & ‘GMA’.
Her choreographic credits for film include; Ricki Lee film clips, ‘Can’t Sing a Different Song’ as well as the smash hit ‘Can’t touch It’ (Shock Records & Video Remix by Ministry of Sound U.K). Deni Hines, film clips include ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ & ‘Water for Chocolate’, and for Stephen Spielberg, the highly acclaimed 'The Pacific' (HBO).
Television credits include ‘Australian Idol Grand final’ (Chan.10) ‘ARIA Awards’ (Chan. 10), ‘So You Think You Can Dance Greece’ (Mega TV), ‘Neighbors’ (Channel 10), ‘Australia Day Live Concert at Parliament House’ (GTV 9) ‘Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards’ (07 & 08), ‘Carols by Candlelight’ (GTV 9) ‘Comedy Inc’. Yvette’s choreographic credits for live events encompass Ricki Lees ‘Brand New Day’ National Tour, Tim Campbell’s ‘Retro Experience’, ‘Mamma Mia the Movie Launch’, the 2007 ‘A.P.E.C. World Leaders Summit’, choreographer to Deni Hines & Dancers at ‘Mercedes Fashion Week’, ‘Nike’, ‘New Balance’ & ‘Diadora’ Seasonal Dance Parades, ‘WPT World Championships’ at Crown Casino and Arena Spectaculars including Armin Van Buurin’s ‘White Party’ & ‘Imagine’ Tours, ‘Winter Sound System’ and ‘Gods Kitchen’ (Future Entertainment).
She has also choreographed extensively through Asia touring shows for Walt Disney Special Events reaching Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and China.
Andrew is the worldwide Associate Choreographer for Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical (Back Row), recently working on the West End production, which opened March 2009.
Andrew choreographed the original Australian production of Eurobeat (Almost Eurovision) for which he received a Green Room nomination and the production was revived for the Edinburgh Festival, the West End and a subsequent UK tour.
Andrew worked on the premiere series of So You Think You Can Dance Australia and choreographed Indigerido and Ja'ime's Assembly Routine on the cult Chris Lilley TV show We Can Be Heroes.
His other choreographic credits include, Leader of the Pack (Green Room Award for Best Choreography and Helpmann Award nomination for Best Choroegraphy), Menopause The Musical (nominated for Helpmann Award for Best Choreography) Sideshow Alley, The Merry Widow (Melbourne City Opera) and Newley Discovered starring Hugh Sheridan for the 2009 Adelaide Cabaret Festival
Andrew was Resident Director and Assistant Choreographer to Ross Coleman on Shout! The Legend of the Wild One, Resident Director on Oh! What a Night (featuring Marcia Hines & Gary Sweet) and Associate Director/Choreographer for Fiddler on the Roof (with Topol).
Andrew has worked extensively with the Production Company, choreographing Carousel (with David Campbell) and Mame (with Rhonda Burchmore) and as co-choreographer with Ross Coleman on The Music Man and Bye Bye Birdie (receiving Green Room Award nominations for both productions). Later this year he will choreograph the Boyfriend for the Production Company 2009 season.
Oleg was born in Bashkirien Russia and attended the famous Vaganowa Academy in St Petersbur from he age of eleven until he graduated at eighteen years old. He then graduated from the choreographic conservatorium of Rimsky Korsokov, which is equivalent of a Bachelor of Arts in Australia. In Russia he began his career as a dancer in the St Pertersburg Operetta Theatre then moved to a soloist position with Boris Eiffman’s Ballet Theatre. He choreographed at the St Petersburg Music Hall and the Friedrichstaadt Palast in Berlin.
Oleg choreographed for countless television shows, Operas, Ballets On Ice, Theatre Productions and Cabarets.
He created the choreography for the dance films, ‘Balsaminvo’s Weddimg’ and ’Musical Games’ as well as a one act ballet for Farouk Rusimatov’s evening at The Marinsky Theatre, Anton Rububinstein’s Opera “ Demon’ created especially for Nadejda Vassilieva. Since the fall of the Soviet Union Oleg has danced around the world and eventually made his home in Australia.
Oleg has since taught for many studio’s in Australia and also Australian ballet school.
Tim trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and The Dance Factory in Melbourne. He has performed in Opera Australia's Melbourne, Sydney and Edinburgh Festival seasons of Baz Lurman’s production of '‘ Mid Summer Nights Dream’. Other credits include, ‘Mack and Mabel’ - ‘West Side Story’ – ‘Me and My Girl’ – ‘My Fair Lady’ – ‘Sweet Charity’ – ‘Crazy for You’ – ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ – ‘Happy Days’ – ‘Anything Goes’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Tim has had an extensive ten year career including TVCs (commercials), TV series and corporate work right around Australia & New Zealand. He has now turned his attention to corporate entertainment with his own company ‘Crescendo’ whose credits include regular functions all over Melbourne, the re-opening of Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne, and his most recent project “Stampede” a tap extravaganza. Tim recently made his triumphant return to the theatre appearing in the Production Companies “42nd ST” and “Follies”
Bec has had an extensive career as a Dancer/ performer. Her recent endevours have been performing for Robert Sturrok’s company ‘INDUSTRY’ in “OM”.
She has traveled the world with many corporate shows and performed for Sony, Monster Trucks, Sensis, Nike and Crown Casino just to name a few. Bec has recently returned from New York where she spent time studying dance and performance.
Spectrum is delighted to have Bec on there teaching faculty this year as she brings a committed fresh approach to teaching with inventive choreography.
Carmel is most renowned for the role of Mabel in Simon Gallaher’s production of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE with John English, which toured nationally. Most recently she has performed the role of Maria in WEST SIDE STORY, at the Gold Coast Art’s Centre’s 2oth Anniversary. Other roles include Julie Jordan in CAROUSEL and Fiona in BRIGADOON. Carmel made her debut in musical theatre playing the role of Cossette in the GCAC’s production of LES MISERABLES. She went on to study at the QUEENSLAND CONSERVATORIUM OF MUSIC, where she performed the roles of Titania in A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM and Cherubino in THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO. She returned to the GCAC for ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER AND FRIENDS IN CONCERT, Carmel featured as a guest artist on renowned jazz group BLUE DRAG’S second album where she sang with Kate Cebrano and Roger Lemke. Carmel is currently performing in her cabaret show JUST THE TWO OF US with tenor Daniel Mallari and is currently recording her debut C.D
Since graduating from Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts, Natalie has appeared in many musical and theatre productions both in Australia and Internationally. Some of her highlights are: Savoy Theatre, West End - Murderous Instincts (Lauren), A 'Best Female Artist in a featured role - Musical Theatre' nomination at the 2006 Green Room Awards for her role as Olive in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Melbourne Theatre Co), and 'Sophie' in the original Australian Production of Mamma Mia (Littlestar) ,‘Get Here’( York Theatre New York),’Kim Mcaffe’ in Bye Bye Birdie (The Production Company) Red Riding Hood in Sondheims ‘Into the Woods’(Oliver Presents) and Les Miserables(Cameron Mackintosh). Most recently She appeared as 'Polly' in 'Crazy For You' ( The Production Company) and has just finished playing 'Rose(mother)' in 'One Night the Moon' for the Malthouse Theatre. Her television credits include: Satisfaction, City Homicide, Water Rats, All Saints and the television movie of South Pacific starring Glenn Close and Harry Connick Junior. Natalie appeared alongside Nia Vardalos and Richard Dreyfuss in the romantic comedy "My Life in Ruins and has featured in the short films Black Holes and Afterwards Most recently she completed the Australian Feature film 'Taj' directed by Winston Furlong.
Liz’s dance training commenced at the National Theatre Ballet School, in East St Kilda where she studied R.A.D, Character, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. Her teachers at the National included Gaileen Stock, Gary Norman, Anne Jenner, Leigh Rowels, Eileen Tasker, Martin Rubenstein, Joanne Aderly and Joanne Michel. Liz was then accepted into the Australian Ballet School, where she completed a Diploma of Dance and worked with Marilyn Rowe, Michaela Kirkaldi, Timothy Gordon, Robert Ray, Christine Howard, Mark Annear and Dame Margaret Scott. As part of the school syllabus we studied - Voganova – the Russian method of dance training, and completed R.A.D. advanced. Liz danced with the Singapore Dance Theatre, performing as a principal artist. She toured to China, Hong Kong and Malaysia where she danced with the company as a solo guest artist. Liz performed as a soloist dancer for 5 years on Phantom of the Opera and toured with the company throughout Australia and New Zealand. Throughout this time Liz taught classical to beginners through to professionals. Liz studied Pilates with Nicole Vass and has been teaching and working with physios, nurses & massage therapists,
Artistic Director of an up and coming new age Hip Hop Company, Dance Virus Production. D.V.P. is a company that allows young and vibrant professionals to learn, in an atmosphere of excellence and work along side the best in the business.
Shane has also been a member of international dance company Dance 2xs United Kingdom.
Hip Hop shows include “Rock your Body, music videos take to stage in this showcase of urban dance styles. U.K Company Dance 2xs“Lyrical Dance”, celebrating diversity of dance in West London, “Big Dance” and “Project Element”, a hip-hop master classes by some of the finest choreographers from L.A. and London.
Shane has taught Hip Hop at the famous Pineapple studios London 2005/2007.

Shane is one of Australia’s leading Hip Hop talents.
Liam has many Musical Theatre credits to his name including High School Musical – Live On Stage 2008/09, Shout! The Legend of the Wild One, 2008, Cats (World Tour) 2006/07, Dusty – The Original Pop Diva 2006, Sunset Boulevard 2005, My Fair Lady 2005, Grease - The Arena Spectacular 2005.
He has also performed at Carols in the Domain, The Morning Show, 12 Irish Tenors - Live in Luxembourg as a Guest Soloist, Shout! – Film Project and Dusty – Little By Little (Documentary)Performer – ABC Television.
Liam has a passion for teaching and has recently been cast in the Musical Mary Poppins which opens in may 2010.
Simon is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
His theatre credits in Australia include Les Miserables (10th Anniversary production), Jolson, Putting It Together, Shout, Songs For A New World (Australian premiere), Fame, Mamma Mia! (Helpmann Award nomination), the world premiers of Harbour and The Republic of Myopia (Sydney Theatre Company) and the original Australian production of Eureka.
Since moving to London, Simon appeared in the world premiere of The Far Pavilions on the West End (Whatsonstage nomination), Southwark Fair (Royal National Theatre, directed by Nicholas Hytner), Three Sides, The Silver Lake (Wexford Festival), Certified Male (Edinburgh Festival) and Imagine This (West End).
Simon’s film and television credits in Australia include Neighbours, Blue Heelers and Seachange. In London he played the role of Sid in EastEnders (BBC 1) and he was a member of the principal cast of Kombat Opera (BBC 2) directed by Monty Python member, Terry Jones. Simon played the role of Ken in My Life In Ruins opposite Richard Dreyfuss and Nia Vardalos.
Paul Edward Malek – A graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) 1994 - 1999. He studied classical ballet, contemporary, character (national dance), jazz, tap, acrobatics and composition whilst at VCASS, and during this time he also studied singing and drama at Centrestage school of Performing Arts. In 2000 Paul furthered his performance education by completing Certificate III in Performing Arts at Bartuccio’s Dance, Modelling and Promotion Centre.
Paul began his professional career in 2001 with a contract with P&O Cruises. Shortly after he moved into commercial work, appearing in video clips and at corporate functions and he has also performed in and choreographed for various fashion shows. Paul worked with Walt Disney Special Events Company, performing various roles internationally. Finishing his last contract as Dance Captain.
Paul then joined Norwegian Cruise Lines for three contracts as Dance Captain before being invited to stage and direct shows for the MS Pride of Aloha, MS Norwegian Wind and MS Norwegian Dream, a position that involved recreating excerpts of original Fosse choreography from Dancin' and Sweet Charity. Paul has also taught and choreographed all over Australia, and has created his own 12 level jazz training syllabus that is being taught in schools throughout Australia, Asia, England and Scotland.
Mat was selected and trained with the Nangjing Acrobatic Troupe for China with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in Albury NSW. He then joined the Flying Fruit Fly Circus and traveled extensively throughout Australia as a Performer in acrobatics, comedy acts, Chinese pole, Chinese hoop diving, unicycling, group bike, pyramids and juggling.
Mat was then asked to be a circus advisor/coach for the Australian production of YOHGU BOY Arnhem Land (Northern Territory), in conjunction with Corrugated Iron Youth Theatre, Australian Children’s Television Foundation and Burrundi Pictures. From there he became the Circus Instructor Flying Fruit Fly Circus; Australia’s Premier Youth Circus.
Acrobatics, Comedy Knockabout , Juggling , Teeterboard , Casting , Comedy Vaulting. After completing Circus Workshops Singapore, in conjunction with Cirque Du Soleil’s, Cirque Du Monde Outreach Program he came back to Melbourne to take up the position as Circus Instructor at NICA (National Institute of Circus Arts) Acrobatics teacher in Bachelor of Circus Arts. In 2006 he was appointed Deputy Head of Circus Arts at NICA and Head of the Serious Circus program. Here are just some of his coaching experiences:

Brooke has been studying a range of dance styles since the age of two, predominately at the Hart School of Dance as well as undertaking voice training for 7 years. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, majoring in modern contemporary dance and drama, whilst also attaining her teaching diploma in both jazz and Tap dance. Brooke Currently teachers at the HSD, the National Theatre Ballet School and The Edge performers school as well as freelancing throughout Melbourne. Brooke’s performance credits include; The Production Company’s “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “Sweet Charity”, “Little Me” (Dance Captain) ,“Follies (Dance Captain)” and more recently assistant choreographer to Dana Jolly in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, an array of work with contemporary artists throughout Melbourne, A Supernumery in the 2006 season of “Boy From Oz”, GVT9’s Friday Night Family Feud TVC, 2007 Footy Show TVC, Ch7’s “It Takes Two” numerous photo shoots including BMW and the Docklands New Quay, as well as working extensively for Crescendo Entertainment, Joanne Adderley Promotions, Voltage Entertainment and Danni K Promotions. Brooke recently played the role of “Maureen” & understudied the lead “Marianne” in the Production of “Shout” - The Legend of the Wild One in Both Melbourne & Sydney
Adrian has been working professionally in the entertainment industry for past 15 years as a dancer, choreographer, director, producer and entertainment and event manager.
Having come from the commercial industry Adrian has worked in many different fields of dance entertainment in Melbourne, nationally and internationally. From freestyle dance and video clips to fashion parades and massive corporate events, Adrian has had his finger in every area of the entertainment pie.
Having created and directed multiple shows and acts for international clients such as Malaysian Airlines, Grey World Wide, Formula 1, Dunhill, British Airways, Gunnies, Ferrari, Mercedes and more. His Shows has been performed in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Sir Lanka and Hong Kong.
Trish Squire-Rogers has had a mesmerizing career. From her first contract as a professional dancer in Japan in the early 90s, Trish first learned then mastered every aspect of her craft from the ground up and led her to where she is today.
As one of Australias leading choreographers and producer of premier live events, Trish has choreographed and produced major entertainment events for blue-chip companies such as Siemens, Crown & Burswood Casinos, Star City, Schweppes, Mars, GTV 9, Melbournes Commonwealth Games 2006 and many TV & Film credits including Neighbours, The Logies, Curves Gym National TV Campaign, the mini series Pacific (Steven Spielberg) Trish has far too many live performance credits and has worked with and choreographed for many artists including Toni Pearon, Ricki Lee Coulter, Rhonda Burchmore, Guy Sebastian, Hi-5, Chris Lilley, Wendy Stapleton, Jon English & Tottie Goldsmith.
Trish is able to draw on her wealth of experience to provide tailor made & unique shows for her clients and her natural flair & eye for detail enables her to provide a full package of music, theming, costuming & choreography. The Spectrum Dance Full Time Performing Arts End of Year Showcase has become the must-see ticket for every serious dancer and lover of the art form.
Trish has again been given the contract as the Choreographer, Artistic Director and Manager of the Melbourne Storm NRL Cheerleaders for the second year running.
With the launch of her talent agency this year, Spectrum Talent has had a great start and Trish has already secured positions for her talent in Royal Caribbean Cruises and West Side Story and has just been awarded a lucrative contract for her talent with major clothing label.
Trishs life experience, as a professional dancer is a key factor in her ability to help her students adopt the professional qualities required to succeed in this highly competitive world.

Katie, a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, toured overseas and performed extensively throughout Australia in a large variety of theatrical shows and corporate events. In 1992 Katie founded CRAZY FEET DANCE STUDIO, a studio that focused on the philosophy of developing the individual talents and ambitions of all the students. This has led to many Professional placements in productions as diverse as Annie, Wizard of Oz, Disney, Oliver, An Inspector Calls, The Australian Opera, The Commonwealth Opening & Closing Ceremonies and Fiddler on the Roof not to mention TV Commercials, Fashion Parades, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and Billy Elliot.
Katie’s passion is to assist young adult dancers & performers to achieve their full potential and maximize their exposure to the professional dance industry.
